How to design an autonomous-agent cell in Paperclip
A small structure with clear roles and a delegation chain that turns objectives into verifiable work.

An agent group does not become useful by adding more models. Start with a concrete mission and a minimal cell: one agent that prioritises, specialists that execute, and a person who sets direction and approves high-impact change.
In Paperclip, the company, teams, agents, and tasks make that structure explicit. The coordinating agent breaks work down, assigns it, and consolidates evidence; it should not perform every task itself.
Begin with a repeatable, low-risk flow: market research, proposal preparation, issue triage, or technical documentation. Define an observable outcome and a maximum cycle time.
For every role, define its expected result, tool access, completion criteria, and escalation point. A researcher can find and synthesise; an implementer can prepare a change; a reviewer can validate evidence.
Grow the cell when the flow is reliable, not when the organisation chart looks complete. Add an agent only when it removes a measured bottleneck or improves delivery quality.
